Warren
Mahoney and the Clintar Groundskeeping Services #25 made
the trip to the Ohsweken Speedway on Friday August 22nd
to compete in the weekly 360 sprint car division.
It was a strong night for the 'Wiley One' as he ran at
the front of the field all evening. In his 8 lap
qualifier Warren came home third behind Mikey Kruchka
and Blake Breen.
When the
20 lap A-main rolled onto the track Warren would start
on the outside of the front row. Although he got
shuffled back on the start the #25 stayed in contention
all night and finished the evening with a fifth place
finish. Brad Malloy took the win in what was his first
career sprint car feature victory.
Warren Mahoney and the rest of the Southern Ontario
Sprints get ready for a busy Labour Day Weekend August
30th & 31st. The SOS will run their July 12th rained
out feature on Saturday night prior to a complete show
that evening. The tour will then bring its schedule to a
close with the SOS Championship event on Sunday night.
Warren trails point leader Glenn Styres by just 8
markers with just three features remaining. For more information visit www.southernontariosprints.com. |
