After
just 3 races into the 2005 Southern Ontario sprints
tour Warren Mahoney is looking to catch a break and
maybe a little luck. Warren's best finish on the
year has been a pair of 13th place finishes. The
first came at Ohsweken on May 20th and the same
weekend he finished 13th at Humberstone on May 22nd.
Mahoney's night didn't get off to a very good start at
Ohsweken on May 27th. On lap one of the 21 lap
SOS feature event Warren made contact with another car
and was sent off the racing surface. The car
tumbled several times before coming to rest off of the
third turn. The driver was okay but his car was
a different story. The #25 would be done for the
evening. After three races Warren finds himself
12th in the overall SOS standings 158 points behind
leader Adam West. Up next for the #25 team is
Ohsweken on June 10th and double feature night at
Brighton on June 11th.
