MAHONEY
GETS FIRST TOP TEN OF THE SEASON |
| Having
switch over to a back up ride after the wild flip at
Ohsweken last week, Warren Mahoney was back in action
for three races in two nights. On friday night
at Ohsweken Warren was strong finishing second in his
heat and sixth in the Dash for Cash. Come
feature time though the #25 developed problems and was
forced to the pits early. He would end up 24th
in the main event. On Saturday night it was a
pair of features for the SOS at the Brighton Speedway.
First up was the May 7th make up race. Adam West
captured his first career win while Warren finished
11th. In the regular scheduled event Saturday
night Warren would finally have a little luck go his
way as he was able to finish the feature and come home
a respectable 9th in the 21 car field. The top
ten finish helped boost Warren back to the top ten in
points after six events. Up next for the #25
team is South Buxton on Saturday June 18th for the
CanAm Challenge Series Race #1 against the Sprints On
Dirt. |
