Warren
Mahoney is quietly become one of the hottest drivers
on the 2005 Southern Ontario Sprints 10th Anniversary
Tour. After posting a second place finish on
June 18th at South Buxton the Lefroy, Ontario native
backed up his performance with a solid double header
weekend. On Friday July 8th the #25 team
traveled to the Ohsweken Speedway and nearly swept the
evenings events. Warren piloted his car to both
a heat and dash win. In the A-Main Mahoney was
in a three car battle for the lead with Adam West and
Bob Crawford. The trio swapped the lead several
times over a handful of laps. West would go on
to win the event while Warren would come home in the
second spot. On Saturday night Mahoney made his
way to Brighton Speedway. He would finish second
in the third heat and seventh in the feature event.
All in all it was another solid weekend for the #25
team. Up next Warren returns to actin at the
Ohsweken Speedway on Friday July 22nd.
