| The
2005 season may be one that Warren Mahoney would like
to forget. After a pair of rollovers this year
the #25 team has been busy just making sure they have
a car ready for each Southern Ontario Sprints event.
After his accident at South Buxton on July 23rd the
team was ready again at Brighton the following week.
The night however
would be a rough one for Mahoney. Warren failed
to finish heat race number two and finished 7th.
In the 21 lap feature it was the 'Joyceville Jet' Rick
Wilson dominating the race. Rick piloted the
#42w to his first SOS win of the season over point
leader Adam West. For Warren Mahoney he was able
to bring the car home with an 11th place finish.
Warren currently
stand 6th in the 2005 10th Anniversary Season
standings for the Southern Ontario Sprints. He
finds himself just 33 points outside of the top five.
Manhoney will have a
week off as teams travel to the Brodix Tournament of
Champions in Knoxville Iowa. The SOS gets back
to action on Friday August 12th at the Ohsweken
Speedway. |
