For
both Dick and Warren Mahoney the 2005 was a seasons of
ups and downs. Both were competitive all season and
ran up front with the Southern Ontario Sprints.
Although neither would capture a checkered flag this
year it was still a successful season. Dick finished
third overall in the 2005 10th Anniversary Season
Standings. His strong season was topped with a best
third place finish at South Buxton in June and a pair
of 4th place finishes at Brighton and Ohsweken.
For Warren the 2005
season was a rocky one. It seemed the #25 was either
running with the leaders or upside down. The crew was
busy repairing cars but was still able to end the
season with a top five finish. It is the 7th time in
Warren's seven year career with the SOS that he has
finished in the top five at seasons end. At one point
in 2005 it appeared as thought that streak would be
broken but a strong finish to the year helped propel
him to the fifth spot.
The Mahoney racing teams would like to thank all of
their sponsors, fans and friends for a great season.
Without all of your support their success in 2005
wouldn't have been possible. Thanks for a greats year
and see you in 2006!!! |
